India's Airtel to spend $9 billion to upgrade its network infrastructure

Airtel, India's largest carrier, has announced that it will spend $9 billion toward upgrading its network infrastructure over the next three years. The carrier will invest in building new cell towers and laying fiber optic cables, all aimed at improving service in congested areas such as New Delhi, where it needs to double the number of cell towers to provide full coverage.

Weekly Poll Followup: No shopping on Black Friday

Considering the chaos of shopping in person has become more and more of a hassle in recent years, and that there is always a sale somewhere on Amazon that's hard to resist, most of us do at least a little bit of shopping on this high retail holiday. AT&T to bump price of grandfathered unlimited data plans to $35
